British Army: ‘The army is in a dire state’ – Tory MP and Defence Committee chair

Tobias Ellwood, a Conservative MP and chair of the Defence Select Committee, has said the army is in a “dire state”, pointing out it’s “unacceptable” that key components of the British Army’s land warfare are 20 -50 years old.
